One Meridian: Why We Are Changing (demo v2) VO - Overview | Rise 360

This is an example of the first module of an eLearning course for change management at the fictional company of Meridian MedTech. All content and assets are custom.

I performed all of the analysis, design, development, and implementation work, including writing plausible content on change management topics.

Below the screenshot is an example of the first draft of the storyboard which is used in conjunction with the course content document to build the modules.

This is a mockup of the (proposed) final version of a tool I worked on for a global financial services company to automatically create high-quality assessments for eLearning based on a PDF of an eLearning course. Initial logic and chat-based prototype testing had been completed. The company used is fictitious.

NIST Cybersecurity Course

This is an example of a module on cybersecurity that I designed to be customized for a specific client. It is based on validated open source materials and follows NIST standards.

I performed all of the analysis, design, development, and implementation work.

Course description:

This course empowers small business owners and managers to take charge of their cybersecurity using the trusted NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0. Through practical guidance, real-world examples, and immersive scenarios, you'll learn to identify your biggest risks, implement essential safeguards, and respond confidently to threats.

I designed a multi-agent AI system to automatically address skill gaps by persona (role) using custom skill assessment, personalized learning paths by persona, and progress tracking.

I scoped, designed, and developed this tracking tool with the assistance of ChatGPT as part of a pitch for a major hobby and game company.

Many regulated industries face the challenge of adhering to industry-specific regulations while achieving their sales goals. 

I proposed a creative solution to this pharmaceutical client - simulate a "day in the life" of an sales representative/account manager from his or her point of view using social learning theory.

This was a full simulation with custom video and subtle game elements.The learner interacted with health care professionals and others and was coached to optimize his or her behavior for both successful sales and compliance outcomes.

I led the writing and design teams, provided technical expertise, and managed the project from initiation to completion. Partner vendors for video and elearning elements were Second City Communications and Sify.

As you can see from the trailer, this  six episode web series was designed to be an entertaining way to introduce and reinforce correct sales and professional soft skills techniques in the context of compliance. 

For this pharmaceutical client, I worked with Second City Communications and used social learning theory  to enhance behavioral change.

This was a perfect assignment for me, given my background in psychology as well as my experience both in front of and behind the camera.

I co-wrote the scripts and provided extensive technical, management, production, and learning expertise to the project. 

Second City did an outstanding job with the shoot, and the client was very pleased with the result.

An integral part of any successful training program, is "tone from the middle" - in this case, providing managers with concise communication and training tools that they can use to reinforce key points from existing training programs.

For this client, I analyzed and summarized several communications offerings and created briefings for department/line managers.to provide quick, "drop in" scripted  training during existing meetings.

A Code of Conduct - almost every company has one posted somewhere on their website, but how can you entice employees to actually pay attention to it?

One novel approach is to create a graphic novel series highlighting some of the key topics in the Code. This is a surprisingly entertaining and effective approach across all demographics.

The concept as shown here was originally presented by the vendor Performance Development Group (PDG). I directed the project for the client, and worked with PDG's creative team on design and script creation and production.

I have since developed a enhanced version internally for use by my clients.

In technical and/or regulated industries, one common training challenge is how to present complex information in a way that is engaging, accurate, and retained by the learners. 

We took original "page-turner" non-interactive content and worked with the client's subject matter experts to create a Good Clinical Practice training program that was scenario-based, interactive, and applicable to real-world situations.

I managed the project from initiation to launch, and partnering with a vendor (Sify) provided course and simulation-level analysis, design, and technical knowledge.

Working with a major pharmaceutical company, I developed a global training program for their new digital asset management software.

I managed a "just in time" initial 60 day roll-out of an instructor-led program (including writing training materials and presenting live courses) and designed all phases of a comprehensive training program including transition to a elearning model.

The client also had a challenge of providing training on the new system before they were able to make it available to learners. I designed, built, and recorded voice-over for several elearning courses (a sample screen appears here) that contained complex software simulations using Articulate, Camtasia, and other tools. These simulations provided an almost identical experience to the  production software so that the learners did not need access to the "real" software during training.
